The book is accompanied by 48 plates with the great works of the artists. On the dust jacket is the famous woodcut made by Yosef Bodko "A man such as me does not flee" which he created in 1928. In the book, Schwartz, among other things, analyzes the connection between the artists' personalities and their great works.
