A letter signed by Rabbi Shmuel Yitzchak Hillman regarding the "permitting prohibitions" booklets requested from Constantinople Rabbis, after they ran out. The Gaon advises them to turn directly to Rabbi Chaim Ozer Grodzinski, with whom the requested booklets still remain.
Rabbi Shmuel Yitzchak Hillman [1868-1953] Born in Lithuania, in his youth he studied at the Volozhin Yeshiva and was ordained by Rabbi Eliyahu David Rabinowitz - Teomim, The the Ridbaz, and the "or Sameach". Served as the Chief Rabbi of Glasgow and Rabbi of London, author of a series of books "Or Yashar". Father-in-law of the Chief Rabbi of Israel Yitzhak Isaac Halevi Herzog.
