Five newspaper clippings from Rabbi Kook's desk that have been preserved with him, most of them dealing with Rabbi Kook himself and in Some we found captions and handwritten notes by Rabbi Cook handwriting. Very rare.
A newspaper clipping appears with an article about Rabbi Kook and his writings by S. Ernst titled: "Rabbi Kook and the idea of resurrection" At the top, Rabbi Cook noted the newspaper details in which the article was published: , 'Today', 49 sheet, fifth year, Thursday, Kislev 10 1923". In another newspaper clipping quoting a letter from Rabbi Cook, he added in handwriting the date: 'shvat 12, 1922' and the newspaper in which he published 'Dar Today', in another clipping which publishes a letter of thanks from High Commissioner Herbert Samuel to Rabbi kook In his honor, after being cured of his illness (See item 219) written in Hebrew, the Rabbi kook wrote: "Doar Hayom 103, Nissan 2 1922". In another important newspaper clipping for itself, preserved "Kol Koreh" that also published in the period press, in which it calls the 'Seculars' to respect the orthodox education. Also, an interesting newspaper clipping appears entitled "'Welcome the Lord' detailing, inter alia, the Rabbi Cook speech at the reception given to Sir Herbert Samuel.
The identification of the notes as the handwriting of the Rabbi Cook was done both by the similarity in his typical handwriting for these years, and by the origin of newspaper clippings that came years ago from the Rabbi Kook's House itself.
