An album with 180 photographs of Land of Israel and the Middle East, 1930s - The British Forces in Palestine - The Third Battalion. O ne of the album's pages contains the handwritten signatures of all the fighters of that British battalion in Palestine - British Forces in Palestine.
Among the photos: Various photos of people and sites from the cities of Luxor in Egypt, Port Said, Jerusalem, Acre, Tel Aviv, Haifa, Tiberias, Bethlehem, Jericho, Beirut, Damascus. Furthermore, the album contains photos of newspaper headline pages from Egypt which were printed on photo paper, dealing mainly with the Allied victory in World War II and important events during the war. At the opening of the album is a photo of the British forces ship SS Orduña.
Album: 37x25 cm. Patterns of leaves and flowers and a copper relief of the Tower of David and the inscription JERUSALEM. Overall condition good .
