On the back of the postcard is a caption - a father asking his son to tell him about his "army life" as a Jewish soldier in the British army during the First World War, sent by mail in September 1918.
The Designer Bernhard T. Wall [1872-1956] American historian and lithographic illustrator. Designed over 5,000 postcards and published as "The King of the Postcards". Most of his work dealt with patriotic issues in the American propaganda service during the First World War.
