The Golden Rose Synagogue In Koczyubinski [Shalom Aleichem Street] in Dnipro - Ukraine, was established in 1868. In 1924 the building served as a workers' club and warehouse, and the Star of David at its head was replaced by the symbol of the unification of the Soviet Socialist Republics. It was not until the end of the 20th century that it was returned to Jewish hands, and even renovated.
