Two early Israeli flags for Simchat Torah - rare designs. Israel, c. 1950.

Simchat Torah flag in the form of the Israel flag, Stars of David and small Israeli flags. In the center is "TeChi Medinat Israel", at the top "L'Shana Haba'ah B'Yerushalayim" and "Sisu VeSimchu BeSimchat Torah". M. G-K. Publishing. Extremely rare version. May have come out in the first year of the state in 1948. Does not appear in the "Simchat Torah Flags" catalogue published by the Eretz Israel Museum. It should be noted that the entire book does not contain a Simchat Torah flag in the form of an Israeli flag in any form. 30x22 cm. Slight tear in the upper part. Original wooden pole. A slight tear at the top left. Good condition.

"Sisu VeSimchu BeSimchat Torah" - teenagers and elderly surrounding the Torah Ark with Israeli flags in their hands. On the back of the flag is the order of the Hakafot and on the left is a figure of an Israeli child waving the Israeli flag. Rare. Does not appear in "Simchat Torah Flags" . Size: 25x22 cm. Original pole. Good condition.
