13 photographs by Zoltan Kluger, Eretz Israel, 1st half of the 20th century. Photographs documenting the returning of the Land of Israel to life - Hebrew workers in a weaving factory in Tel Aviv, a traffic policeman in Tel Aviv, photographs of plowing from the day of the aliyah in the village of Kish (1946), workers in a furniture factory, and more.

The photographs are all signed on the back with the stamp "Oriental Photography Company for the Press (Photo Z. Kluger)". Some of the photographs are signed on the back with the Keren Hayesod stamp, and some are depicted in handwriting, pen or pencil.

Zoltan Kluger (1896-1977), one of the most important photographers in Eretz Israel in the 1930s and 1940s. Immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1933 and, together with Nachman Shifrin (Ben-Haim), opened the "Oriental Society for Photography for the Press", and soon became one of the leading photographers who will Documented to the regenerating Eretz Israel, and the major events that led to the establishment of the State of Israel. Kluger became the official photographer of Keren Hayesod.
