Three issues of the daily "Doar Hayom" newspapers founded by Itamar Ben Avi, report on Hitler's rise to power, and on the expected changes to European Jewry following the rise of Nazi rule.

* Issue dated November 22, 1932, entitled : "Hitler achieved his goal: He was given to establish power, the Nazis promised security to the Jews if they stopped propaganda against them".

* Issue dated March 2, 1933. entitled : "Absolute dictatorship all over Germany. The death penalty is expected for anyone who opposes Hitler's government. Personal freedom has been completely abolished."

* Issue dated March 7, 1933, entitled : "The election ended in the head of Hitler's crown of victory, a sure majority of 47 votes for the Hitler government."

'Doar Hayom' was a Hebrew daily newspaper that appeared in Eretz Israel between 1919 and 1936, edited by Itamar Ben-Avi. The most important characterization of the newspaper was its lack of ideological commitment. In this sense he was unique in the Hebrew press of the time, in which the press served as the mouthpiece of the various parties.
