Folder of 6 postcards with illustrations of the residents of the Warsaw Ghetto under the Nazi occupation. From the works of the Polish artist Maurice Mendjisky [1889-1951], published by the Institut de Recherche et d'Action contre la Misere Modiale - the Institute for Research and Action against World Suffering. complete folder including the order prospectus. In the postcards are harsh scenes from Mendiski's memory depicting parents and children starving in the Warsaw ghetto. Accompanied by quotations from Abbe Pierre.

Maurice Mendesisky [1889-1951]: Born in Lodz, Poland. In 1906 he left Poland to Berlin to study at the Academy of Music. He became interested in painting and moved to Paris to continue his career as an artist. Soon he caught the attention of the art world of Paris, became friends with Renoir and Picasso, and presented an exhibition with George Petit. During the Second World War he was involved in the activities of the French underground. The Nazis arrested his wife and executed her, and Mandzisky managed to escape. His wife's death had a deep effect on him, and from then until his dying day he was dealing with the subject of the Holocaust And the French resistance during it.
