The Holy Land - Impressive set of glass color slides - scenes of people and landscapes in Eretz Israel, most in Jerusalem and its environs, [no publisher name mentioned], c. 1910. Numbered slides 1-60.

In the slides: maps of Eretz Israel and the Middle East and drawings of holy sites, Jerusalemite Jews in their traditional garb, sites and landscapes within the Old City walls of Jerusalem - the Valley of Jehoshaphat, Gate of Mercy, Hezekiah's Pool, Temple Mount, streets in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem, an elderly Yemenite man against a backdrop of the Tower of David and views of the Tower of David from different angles, holy sites of different religions, Rachel's Tomb from a rare angle, Arab and Bedouin inhabitants of the land in their traditional clothing and daily crafts against landscapes of the landand many more.

Same size slides: 8.5x8 cm. Original wooden case: 52x11x7 cm. All slides are numbered. Color peels on the edges of the wooden case, the slides themselves in Good condition. Missing two slides from the set - No. 31 and 45.
