DIPLOMA. A large and well-designed professional graduation certificate of the Jew Rauchfeld Fela at the ORT school in Leipheim - a town in Bavaria, Germany, (best known for the post-war Holocaust survivor camp). Rauchfeld, born in Warsaw in 1923, received the certificate of completion of his studies in dentistry in December 1948.
Printed certificate with filling his personal details in handwriting. At the top of the certificate is the symbol of 'ORT', at the bottom is a Star of David. All around appear the symbols of the subjects that were taught at the ORT school in the medallions. Rauchfeld graduated with a "good" grade.
Size: 44x33 cm. Original magnificent wooden frame from the period: 52x41 cm. Reinforcements in paper gluing along a longitudinal fold mark. Tear at the bottom right. Good - moderate condition.
