On the back of the booklet it is written: "We do not need to clarify the literary and poetic value of the book ... We must only add that this book, also because of its elegant print, will glorify the bookcase of all Zionists, to whom the name of the national hero is sacred, and who desires that his memory will not be removed from his home ..." . The Empty Nursery was originally written in 1897, on the page after the title page approved of the Warsaw censor. The pages of the play 'Under the Tree of Life' have not been cut in print.
