odpoczynek - rest. A photographed postcard depicting [Jewish?] Old women and girls 'at rest'. As can seen, the women hide their faces from the camera with their hands or handkerchiefs on their heads, some of them looking sideways (even the little girls!) So that their faces will not be visible to the camera.
The postcard is described in the Polish word "odpoczynek" meaning ‘rest’, but apparently these are beggar women sitting on the ground for destitution, and not exactly for reasons of rest.
Very good condition.
