"In our many sins, the period of Hashgacha in the yeshivot has ended, as you see in... and morality must go underground ... G-d have mercy on us." A handwritten and signature letter by the Gaon HaMuosar, the greatest of the Mashgiachim of the last generation, the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Wolba - was sent to the Mashgiach at one of the great Yeshivot in israel, from the place of Rabbi Wolba in Safed.

Rabbi Wolba opens with congratulations to the Mashgiach on the occasion of a family wedding. Later, Rabbi Wolba writes very poignant words about the decline of Yirat Shamayim in the yeshiva world, and urges him to bring the many to the Musar as possible: "On this occasion I inspire you ... to set your eyes and heart to bring the many closer to the musar as much as possible, in our many iniquities the period of Hashgacha in the yeshivot has ended, as you see in ... and morality must go underground ... Rahmana Litzlan - Young people ... those who study with desire and perseverance grow up without any connection to Yirat shamayim, to prayer, and morality, and this is the destruction of the Torah, have mercy on us! Therefore, each of us must strive, with zeal to enlighten many in the light of morality ... Shlomo Wolba. "
